Join us at SPS/IPS/Drives (http://www.mesago.de/en/SPS/main.htm) for an industrial automation technology exhibition November 27 – 29, 2007 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, Nuremberg, Germany. RadiSys is participating with Embedded4You (http://www.embedded4you.com/index.php) in Hall 7, booth 7A-345 with Embedded4You members aicas, Avnet, Elma Trenew, N.A.T., RST, Radisys, VSystems and Xisys. The companies are demonstrating the latest developments in advanced embedded system hardware and software. We are featuring an OS-9 multi-core robotics demo powered by the OS-9 real-time operating system, Fedora Linux general processing operating system and VirtualLogix VLX virtualization software. The demonstration is being run on a RadiSys Endura Mini-ITX board featuring an Intel Core Duo processor. OS-9 provides the exceptional real-time solution for new hybrid, virtual computing environments.

In addition, we are supporting MicroSys (http://www.MicroSys.de) electronics GmbH in Hall 8, Booth 8-509 with the introduction of a graphic development kit for embedded Power Architecture applications.  The kit utilizes an innovative MPX standard based MPC5200 system with the Microware ® OS-9 RTOS and the proven XiBase9 graphic system.

RadiSys Multi-Core at Intel ESC Fall 2006 North America and Europe

RadiSys was the only vendor at the Intel ESC West show with a complete HW/SW solution for multicore design. As a proof-of-concept, we demonstrated the classic PONG video game running on RadiSys' Topaz Mini-ITX board, which was configured with an Intel® Core Duo processor.   We ran the OS-9 real-time operating system on one core and Fedora Linux general purpose operating system on the other.  Both operating systems executed their own paddle and communicated gameplay  with VirtualLogix VLX real-time virtualization software.
